Jersey Beaches

August 9-10, 2009

After driving up from Atlantic City, we stayed at a Holiday Inn and got Bada Bing Pizza for dinner. The guy there asked where I was from and then said, "There's no good pizza in Virginia."

The next day, we went parasailing on Long Beach Island, close to the Barnegat Bay Lighthouse.

It was thrilling.

Then we went to Surf City for breakfast and the beach.

I saw this picture in Surf City and loved it, because the sign on the house says, "Journey's End."

We stayed in Tom's River for the afternoon, and relaxed at the hotel and then the movies.

In the evening, we went to the boardwalk in Seaside Heights. We played in the arcade. We walked along and looked at the shops.

We rode the Ferris Wheel. Then we rode a gondola that went over the boardwalk, and watched the people below us. We saw people "under the boardwalk," too. It was a great day.
